How to delete all my data on Axolo?

Accepted Answer

If you decide to delete all your data on Axolo, you will then need to onboard from scratch again if you want to use Axolo in the future.

1. Uninstall Slack

Go in the Axolo section, then click on configuration and at the bottom of the redirected page click on remove page.

2. Uninstall Github or GitLab

Uninstall GitHub and delete all data and access as a GitHub user

If you are using GitHub with your engineering, the easiest way to delete all your data on Axolo is to uninstall the Axolo integration on GitHub. When our service is notified that you have uninstalled the application, we automatically delete all your data.

Go on GitHub,
Go to your organization settings,
Click on GitHub App,
On the Axolo.co line, click Configure,
At the bottom of the page, click on Uninstall "Axolo.co".

All your data will be deleted and we won't receive any more webhooks from your organization.

There are three steps to delete all your data and access as a GitLab user:

On the personal Application Page of the Admin that installed Axolo, revoke the Axolo for Slack application,

If messages from a specific developer are not sent to GitHub or GitLab, please try to refresh your GitHub or GitLab OAuth token. Axolo uses this token to write messages in your name.

Open Slack,
Open the Axolo app home in Slack (click on the Axolo app in Slack, or cmd/ctrl + k then type 'Axolo'),
Click on Update my GitHub/GitLab in the Settings category.

There is two ways you can offboard a user. In both cases if you have an active subscription, Axolo will update it.

1. If you remove them from your GitHub organization

2. You can do it manually from the Axolo dashboard:

Click on the Team tab,
You can filter your engineers from GitHub/GitLab within the modal and unselect their Slack profile to offboard them.
